Weekly Drawing Contest || Week-41 || Draw Star Gooseberry Fruit

First of all, I would like to thank to community and organizer of this contest for giving me this opportunity to participate in this contest. Today, in this post I am presenting my drawing of a gooseberry. In my area it is known as Amla. This fruit is not only delicious but also highly beneficial for health. It is rich with Vitamin C and helps to boost immunity. In my this drawing, I tried to capture the natural beauty of this fruit. My purpose is not to showcase just but also its importance in Ayurveda and daily life. I hope my friends you will like my art work Thank you!

These materials I used at the time of drawing of Star Gooseberry fruit.

Step 1

I start my drawing by draw a single slice of Star gooseberry. I outline its curved shape with carefully. After that I added an inner curved to show fleshy part of this fruit. Then I drew small lines inside the slice. That was my first step of drawing.

Step 2

After complete my first step, I draw a whole fruit near it. I started with a round shape to make the the fruit. After this, I make a small stem on top of it for giving it natural look.
Then I drew some lines which helped me to 3D shape. I also give a small texture marks to make it appear more natural.

Step 3

In the third step of drawing, I decided to draw another fruit. This time, I made it cut shape to show inner side of fruit. I draw outer circle shape like first whole fruit. Then, I draw curved lines inside the fruit to division. These lines show the different inner part of fruit. I also make a small stem on top.

Step 4

When I completed three steps I started my fourth and second last step of drawing. I start to draw the background. I draw two branches with leaves upwards from behind the fruits. Theese leaves I drew by a slight curve to make them a more natural. I bold the outline of the branches for making it more visible.

Step 5

In the final step of drawing I start coloring process. I used parrot colour for the outer part of Star gooseberry fruit. I pick brown colour and fill in the branch of leaves.Then, I coloured the inner fleshy part of the sliced fruit with parrot colour. I fill green colour in leaves in different shades. I use black point and outline outer area and finished my drawing.

I am familiar to this fruit. The other name of this fruit is Amla. This is very beneficial for hairs and overall health.
This fruit is available in my country. I can bought it when I needed.
I have ate this fruit and love to eat this. It is very useful for digestion.
The price of star gooseberry fruit is different in Pakistan. In my area it's price is 1600 rupees per Kg in Pakistani currency. It's steem price will be about 32 $steem per Kg.
