One Picture And One Story Week #82

The 3rd day of Eid, i.e. April 2nd, was the Halud ceremony of my friend Suhad's sister. And my friend Suhad had told us long ago that we would definitely get an invitation to his sister's wedding. My friend Suhad's elder sister's name is Monira. Monira Apu was my elder brother's classmate and Suhad and I were classmates. Suhad had told me a few months ago that his elder sister would get married after Eid this year and that he would invite us to that wedding. That was the thing. Before Eid, Tasim and I went to Parbatipur with Suhad several times for various purposes to prepare for the wedding.

The 3rd day of Eid was the Halud ceremony of Suhad's sister. In the afternoon, I went around with my other friends and in the evening, Tasim, Sohag and I went to Suhad's house for the Halud ceremony. I knew that the decoration would be very good because Suhad had decorated his sister's wedding with 38 thousand taka of his own money. However, Suhad could not give us much time at the Gaye Halud ceremony. Because Suhad was the only son of his parents. And as the only brother, there are many responsibilities at a sister's wedding.

Suhad asked me to take some good pictures of his sister and their family and I did. My own great-aunt's house was next to Suhad's house. And my great-aunt died a long time ago. There, at the Gaye Halud ceremony, I met my cousin's daughter, that is, my niece Sumaiya, and I took several pictures of her too. In addition, we friends took pictures together and I took pictures of everyone individually. The Gaye Halud ceremony started after 9 pm.

First, Suhad's family members applied Gaye Halud. Then their relatives. Then we friends, that is, me, Tasim, Sohag and Suhad, all four of us got up together to apply Gaye Halud. And at that moment, Asad took our picture. My friend Tasim had a little fun putting turmeric on his body. But I was a little shy, so I came down from there with turmeric. Then we ate and drank and returned home.
