Posting about things related too sports is one of my hobby in steemit that I hardly carry out/post. I have the opportunity to post something related to sport today through this contest by @aaliarubab in this awesome community and I promise to give this contest my all, though am posting mine when the contest is going to end in few hours.
My favorite sportsman
Basketball is my favorite sport so my favorite sportsman is expected to be a basketballer. I want to talk about Cristiano Ronaldo because he's one of my favorite but I love Lebron James more than him now.
Have said it already, my favorite sportsman is LeBron James, he's a basketball player who plays for Lakers. James was born in the 30th of December in the year1984, he's from Akron, Ohio in United States of America. James plays in the position of small forward/power forward.

Lebron James has made lots of achievements in the basketball industry and he's known as the first NBA active player to accumulate $1 billion in his earnings. James is known to be the only basketball player who surpassed Kareem Abdul-jabbar by becoming the all-time leading scorer in NBA history.
Aside playing basketball, James gotten more fame from numerous contractors, I discovered that he has been featured in documentaries, books and so many others. He has hosted Saturday Night Live and has been seen in the sport film known as Space Jam: A New Legacy in the year 2021.
James is known to have four Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, Four Finals MVP Awards and two Olympic gold medals. He's known to have also competed in 10 NBA Finals. LeBron James is known to have won so many other awards and I didn't mention all here because they aren't necessary.
Inspirations i have received from LeBron James
James is my mentor in the world of basketball and have received the Inspirations from him through the following;

🏀 His position of being a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and so many other things.
Conclusion
Lebron James is my favorite sportsman. He's the best among all. I love his performance whenever he's playing in the court. Players like James will really make lots of people in Nigeria to be interested in basketball. Thanks for reading friends.

LeBron James is indeed one of the icons In the world of basketball today. He has scored many Extraordinary achievements in his career. James has won several NBA titles and received numerous individual awards.
LeBron James' professional career began in 2003 when he was selected as the first pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft. He immediately showed his potential by becoming the Rookie of the Year that same year. James then led the Cavaliers To the NBA finals in 2007 ,making him the only player capable of taking the team To that level.
