One Picture and One Story #69

Oh yeah few weeks ago I was opportuned to be go to the only standard basketball court in my area and it was the end of year so I was convinced the court will be filled with alot of hoopers that day. I got my kits ready on time so that I can be at the place on time before everyone arrives. I haven't been there for a very long time.

I noticed some parts of the basketball court was painted, through the WhatsApp platform of the team so I decided to go there that day to see for myself and the painting was nice even if it wasn't all the parts of the court that was painted. I was finally ready to leave the house and head straight to the place. My phone was with me just for the purpose of taking pictures of the environment.

I arrived at the place I discovered the gate of the primary school where the basketball court is, is locked so I waited patiently for someone to come and open the gate. I never knew two guys were inside the place because I didn't expect anyone to be there until one of the hoopers came and said we should follow the back room and that was when I remembered there's another broken entrance at the back.

I followed the guy until we arrived at the back entrance and I removed my trouser, replaced it with my jersey shorts then I wore my socks and shoes. That was even I remembered that I need to take some pictures of the environment now alot of people aren't present.

The picture in this post shows the half part of the basketball court, I couldn't stop admiring it that day. I kept my phone safely and started jogging round the court, more people were coming and most of them didn't recognize me even the coach and I guess it was because of the fact that I wasn't wearing my glasses, I kept it in my bag that day because I didn't feel like wearing it and I was surprised I played well without the glasses in that particular court online the street games I engage in sometimes.
