I wish you all are well today.I would like to write about my city Sargodha in my daily diary.
People of Sargodha have great eating habits. There are many hotels and restaurants where people enjoy dining with their families. One of the popular restaurants is Karana Bar Restaurant.One of the famous food hubs of Sargodha is Khayam Chowk. The samosas and pakodas of Khayam Chowk are very famous among the people of Sargodha. Another trend of Sargodha people is that they don't just go to regular restaurants but they are very fond of food from truck driver hotels. They go with their families to these truck driver hotels outside Sargodha city and enjoy the food which is very spicy.

trend of education in Sargodha is very good. People from the rural areas of Sargodha also pay a lot of attention to their children's education.They send their children to schools and colleges with the fact that schools and colleges are mainly located in urban Sargodha which is 2-3 km away. There are number of schools and colleges.Sargodha also has a government university called 'University of Sargodha'. It also has a medical college named 'Sargodha Medical College' which has given an average result of 99.9% in the first three years of its establishment from 2009 to 2011 and is ranked 4th in Punjab and 7th in Pakistan for its academic quality. It has become a medical institute. . The number of students attending schools and colleges can be estimated from the fact that it is the only district in Pakistan where each school or college system has any than 2 parts due to the long number of students.

People of Sargodha are very patriotic. He has been awarded several presidential honors for his support to the Pakistan Army and Air Force during the Indo-Pak wars of 1965 and 1971. Although the Pakistan Army has a bad image today due to its alliance with the US military, people still show strong support for the Pakistan Army in Sargodha - Sargodha is also famous for its bright and lush orange groves. It is the largest canoe producing district in the world and is called the 'California of Pakistan'. The quality of canoe production here is known all over the world and it is playing an important role in improving and strengthening the economy of Pakistan. It also has a canal that originates from the river Jhelum.
This canal is the main source of agriculture in Sargodha through which farmers grow their crops

Sargodha also has a textile mill named 'Sultan Textile Mill'. This mill is a major source of income for the poor people of Sargodha. Sargodha also has many rice processing factories and juice factories which also help the people of Sargodha to earn a living. The rice processing plants include a factory of the famous Pakistani rice processing group called 'Omni Rice Mills Pvt.' Limited In the juice factories sector, there are two spical group of juice compny operating their factori in Sargodha. One is 'Nestle' and the other is 'Sheezan'. These factories are certainly not sufficient for the population of Sargodha which is now about one and a half million. Most of the people earn their liveli hood through agriculture and educated people also work in government and public sector to earn a living for their family.

Sargodha is very famous in Punjab because of its festivals. Sargodha organizes 'Mela Moishyan' every year. It is so famous that the Sargodha Cricket Stadium is known as the Mela Moishian Ground. Sargodha has given Pakistan some great Kabaddi and Cricket players.
