Today I am participating in a contest The Digital Connection: Showcasing the Influence of Devices in Our Lives organized by our dear friend @aaliarubab in Steem For Pakistan community. Let's start our concern business without wasting any time.

This is the 21st century, and we call it a modern era. I might not be wrong if I call it post modern era. Today human reach to that levels of advancement which he didn't before. Human today has vast knowledge about science, and he has great command over it. With the help of science we see alot of technological advancement. Each day new technology is introduced, in the form of robots, Adriver vehicle, and other modern gadgets. All these gadgets ofcourse have great impact on human life. Alot of digital things make human life easy, while at the same time there are certain digital instruments that has adverse effects on human being.

I love all the technological advancement made so far, and I am very happy to be in this modern and digital era. Keep it's harmful impacts aside, technology has greatly changed the life of a man. It has made our life easy, comfortable, smooth. For an instance: Before the Auto mobile were invented, people used to travel by foot. It took them days even weeks just to cover 100km distance. Now with the help of modern technology, one can cover that distance in hours. We have multiple other examples from our practical life.

The most important thing which I like about advance technology: it helps save your time upto a great extant. Things which took weeks or even months are now possible in minutes, even in seconds. Take an example of audio call, video call or Message. Before people would communicate through letters. It would take weeks and months to reach. Now you can talk to your relatives, friends just through one click. It has made the world a global village.Seeing these too many advantages, I am great admirer of digital technology. I am lucky to live in this era, as I can enjoy all the benefits of it.

Have you imagined that your Life now is more luxurious than the kings had before. You have far far better ride than them. They have horses which might run with 50 to 60 km/h speed. Today you have cars and other vehicles having Air-conditioner, and can move with approx 200 km/h. They don't have the resources to treat a small disease like flue, and now you have a treatment of a most fatal disease like cancer. You can enjoy summer fruits, and vegetables in winter, but they can't. Their are hundred and thousands of examples I can give you which shows that, a life of normal human is far better than the kings used to have before. This is all just possible with the help of modern technology.

I prefer mobile over all the other gadgets. If you use it properly, it's your best companion. I use it too much. It helps me at every thick and thin. I want to mention that, I have completed my entire Bachelor Study (BS) with mobile. I used YouTube, google and other sources for my study. It's my last semester now: about to be finished, I have made my mind I will do my final research for this semester from mobile. Academically it helps me through out my life. First in metric, then FSc and now BS.

Mobile is a thing on which this phrase, one in all, can fit perfectly. It is a great tuitor, entertainer, message conveyor, memories, and data store and many other. It can gives you best online job if you have some skills. I am selling laptops, and mobiles phone on Facebook. I use mobile for it. Same here for Steemit I use my mobile. It all depends, the way you use mobile. One can use it for great purpose, other can just waste their time through it. But for me mobile is my favorite gadget I have ever.

What are some positive and negative effects of your dependence on digital devices?

This is very important to show both sides of the picture, talking about modern digital devices. It's not the fact that it has only advantages, and no disadvantages. It has some adverse effects on human life. Let's characterized it benefits and harms one by one below.

Advantages Of digital devices

• It facilitates human being. make their life easy.
• They are time savior.
• Provide online jobs.
• Many students use it for academic purposes.
• Work in medical fields.

Disadvantages of digital devices

• It makes human idle, and lazy: machine dependent.
• Many people waste their precious time on it. take example of mobile phone.
• Cyber security risks. Someone may hack device, and steal all your personal data.
• It creates social isolation.
• It has significant impacts on the environment.
