Steem Engagement Challenge S7-W2: "Utilizing waste to create valuable items"

Assalamu Alaikum Steemian. How are you all? I pray everyone is well and healthy. I am also fine by the grace of God. Steem For Pakistan is back with a beautiful Engagement Challenge. This year's Engagement Challenge is "Steem Engagement Challenge S7-W2: Utilizing waste to create valuable items". I like this topic because it will allow everyone to share the creativity we Steemians have through this contest.

We constantly throw away many unnecessary things in our daily life. Throw away any of them as unnecessary. But we ignore the many valuable items that can be made with them. So today, I'm going to show you how to turn my used empty plastic peanut butter container into a pencil holder. So let's start without delay. I will show you step-by-step how to make it. I hope you like it.

First, here is what I need to make the Pen Holder :

• Empty container.
• Red silk cloth
• Card stock paper
• Scissors, scale, pencil, and rubber
• Glue gum
• Lace panels and stones for decoration

Step : 1

• First, I will take a card stock paper. I carefully cut this card stock paper to the size of my container with scissors. I cut the paper to size. After that, I apply glue gum on top of the container to make it stick well. Because it will cover the whole body of the container.

Step : 2

• After that, I apply the card stoke paper with glue gum to the container. Be careful not to loosen the glue while applying. I covered the whole body of the container.

Step : 3

• In this step, we will take a red silk cloth. And with that, I take a piece of paper on which I draw a design with a pencil. After drawing the design, I cut the paper into the shape of the design with scissors. After cutting, I will take the red cloth in the size of the paper, as you can see in the picture below.

Step : 4

• In the next step, you can see I have cut the fabric into the shape of the design with the help of scissors. And I will glue it to the container, which you can see in the picture below. In the picture below, you can see how my designed fabric looked after I put it in the container.

Step : 5

Step : 6

• I will carefully place a lace panel with dough to decorate the pen holder. And as you can see in the picture next to it, the pen holder gives a nice look after the lace panel is installed.

Step : 7

• I will glue small artificial stones on the pot to enhance its beauty. This makes my pencil case more attractive, which you can see in the picture below.

Conclusion

I'm really glad I was able to make a useful item out of a container that was unnecessary in my house. In fact, I think we should all express creativity through which our artistic style will shine through.
