Steemit Engagement Challenge | S7W2 |"Utilizing waste to create valuable items"

Welcome once again to my blog. Today, I will be presenting my last entry in this week's engagement challenge and I do hope you will enjoy reading through my blog as I take you into the world of creativity.

The topic today centres on utilizing waste to create valuables items and on this faithful day, I will be using one of the empty plastic which I took coke to create a valuable which is the flower pot.

In our various houses, we have flowers kept and sometimes we tend to modify them so that it looks more attractive. Today I will be designing a flower pot which I will use as a decoration in my home. Without further ado, let's go straight into making this a reality. Let's get started.

Step 1: Get your empty plastic ready as you can see in the image below.

Step 2: Cut a portion of the plastic as you can see in the image below. To ut this, you can use any of the cutting materials such as a knife, razor or even scissors.

Step 3: After you have successfully cut open the plastic, fetch some soil and put it inside the container. Here you must get good soil I.e loamy or clay soil whichever you know will help or support the growth of your flower. The image below shows me fetching loamy soil and putting it inside my container.

Step 4: Immediately I was done, I took another picture of the container well filled with sand and then I went ahead to add water to it to make the soil ready enough to receive the flower.

Step 5: Plant your flowers in the constructed flower pot and then ensure you water them a little for the growth process to start. The image below shows it.

Step 6: Find a place in your house where you will like to keep it and see it grow. Ideally, it should be a place where little sun and air will always enter and that is exactly what I have done as you can see in the image below.

Creating flower pots can be done in several ways. I have taken into consideration this way because it looks easier and simpler and everyone can do it without any stress.
