1st Dholki Of My Daughter - My Daughter's Pre-Wedding Celebrations

Greetings to all steemains!!

I hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. I'm sharing my diary after a long time period. I didn't tell you before my daughter's wedding has been fixed Alhumdulilah in mid of September. Now before wedding celebrations has started in my family.

In our weddings it's tradition that we sings songs and dance together for bride before her wedding and we called this gathering Dholki. This diary is about 1st dholki of my daughter that was arranged by my friend at her home.

Let's start yesterday diary.

My day started alhumdulilah with fajar prayers. My days are very busy from last month. I have many new tasks to complete on daily basis. Today my main task was to visit the furniture that we ordered 1month before, he was calling us to check the furniture polish.

My friend arranged dholki for us so from evening we had to gathered at her home. My daughter's went her house before one night. She invited 15 more guests for dholki.

I prepared dessert for dinner. My friends and family love my dessert so I made for them. Then I visited the furniture for polish. He made very good furniture. I decided the color of polish and back to home. Then I got ready for dholki and went to my friend house.

When we all gathered she first served us delicious dinner. She made chicken biryani, lamb karhai, macaroni, salad and Nan. Dessert was made by me. We all enjoyed the dinner together in very good mood.

After dinner we started singing songs on dholkak (that's in warisha hands in pictures). They all enjoyed wedding songs, they were making fun of warisha. Rahima danced on many songs, almost all dancing and enjoying. I can't dance, I haven't dance in my life so I was just watching the dance.

My son and my cousin also sang song both have beautiful voice I made their videos but they didn't allow me to share here. My friend, my neighbor and daughters all dance together. Warisha dance with them.

We all celebrate the evening till night 2am. Party was going on but I returned to my home after 2am because my husband has to go on work next day so I left my daughter again her home to enjoy the gathering.

When I reached home I changed my dress and made some morning preparations. I was very tired and slept as I hit the bed. That's all from today's diary.

Today was one of the happiest day of my life. My daughter is going to be a bride. May Allah blessed her with all happiness of life. Please remember my daughter in your prayers for her bright future and happiness. Thanks for giving time to my post.
