This is @suboohi,Country Representative Of Pakistan and Admin of Steem For Pakistan . Today, I am here with this guidance post about voting CSI, voting from personal account to other, to whom we should vote, how many votes should be given etc.

During curation I have noticed that many users are still unaware of voting, some of them are not voting and some of them are voting too much.Many times many users has made guidance post about voting CSI, I'm guiding too personally many users but there is still misunderstanding, so I'm here.

What is CSI

Voting CSI that is Voting Community Index, can be described as Steemit's system that helps to measure the extent of Steemit's mutual support.

We all know, Steemit is a social media platform that rewards contributors for upvoting. Being social media means that Steemians should interact, provide relevant comments, and upvote each other's articles.

Voting CSI describes how many accounts are supported by you in last 7days.

Voting CSI tools can be found on steemworld. Now matter how much worth of your vote, you should vote. You can't underestimate the power of generosity in your upvotes. It helps solidify the bond we share on steemit, and you can also earn curation rewards from it. Here I'm sharing my Curation Steem Reward from screen shot taken from steemworld.org.

The above screen shot shows that I have earned 28 Steem in one week, 121 Steem in one month and 681 Steem in my Steemit Journey.

Voting is basic mechanism of this platform. Just imagine what it would be like to stay on Steemit if the Steemit team decided to withhold the support that they share through upvotes.
Of course, many people leave because steemit's only goal is no longer achieved.

Steemit works by creating quality posts, comments and upvotes. Without this, the platform is useless.

How To Give Vote

We all are aware of voting , at the end of post we have options for upvote and down vote. We use just upvote, we should not down vote to other.

• User having SP more than 100-150 should vote 10 users per day.

• Users having sp equal and greater have voting slider, so they can adjust their voting % and can give more than 10 votes by adjusting it.

• There is no specific time for voting, you can give vote at any time. Just keeping in mind that your VP should not be down from 80.

Criteria For Giving Vote

When we vote others posts we should keep some things in mind that are

• Always vote true or real and verified account.

• Self voting is not allowed.

• Check post before voting that it should be good original and plagiarism free.

• Always vote to the post that is Steemexclusive.

• Don't vote that account who is buying vote or bit-bot.

• Prefer those accounts for voting support who have joined any club.

How To Check CSI

You can check your CSI by steemworld.org by

• Account VP can be checked by steemworld.org by using https://steemworld.org/@username.

The above screen shot showing account VP is 90 and voting CSI is 9.9. You can check your account details before voting.

If voting CSI is less than 5 means you are not voting regularly so it should not be less than 5. We should mentain high voting CSI that means we are supporting many user.
