The days become very short in the month of January, even today there was fog in the air since morning, the weather was very cold, poor Ruby did not even feel like getting out of the blanket, but she was aware of her family responsibilities.

So she left her laziness and left for the office on her old dilapidated scooty, due to heavy fog on the way she could not reach the office on time.

As soon as she entered the office, the peon present there told her that the manager sahab had asked about her many times. Ruby reached the manager's room scared from inside, as soon as she entered inside, the manager scolded her in harsh words for coming late, then ordered her that today I will let you go home only after preparing the complete closing, because tomorrow is the last date to submit it.

Ruby did not feel bad about her manager's scolding because he was a very good person, just sometimes he used to scold all his employees due to excess work.

She immediately went to her desk and started working, and she did not even realize when it was 6 in the evening, bright lights were burning inside the office so she did not know what the weather was like outside.

When she came out to go home after finishing her work, she saw that the weather was even worse than in the morning. Only a few people were visible on the road outside, it was almost night and on top of that there was thick fog.

She sat on her scooty and started towards home slowly, but after going a little distance her scooty broke down, she tried a lot but she could not start it again. Her house was still 2-3 kilometers away. Ruby looked around for help but she did not see a single person there.

Now she was almost about to cry, but then she gathered courage and parked her scooty on the side and locked it.

Then she started walking, there was no one around, she was also very scared. Her legs were trembling. Her heart trembled at any sound, she kept walking in the fog and darkness, then she saw a bearded middle-aged man at a cigarette shop at some distance, his eyes were red like a drunkard.

Now she became even more scared, but that middle-aged man said to her, don't be afraid daughter, I will drop you home. Hearing him calling his daughter, Ruby breathed a sigh of relief. And then that middle-aged man walked along with her and left her at the door of the house and disappeared somewhere in the fog.

Later Ruby regretted a lot that she did not even ask her unknown helper his name.
