June: My View, Myself Wk29.

What do you understand by the word June?

In simple language, the word June reminds us of the 6th month of the English calendar, but if the actual interpretation of the word June is to be done, then June is generated from IUNO, who was the Roman goddess of youth and protection. It is said that the sound J for the word "I" in Latin emerges in French. That is why its name "June" originated.

Another specialty of the month of June is that 21st June is also considered the day of summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year for the Northern Hemisphere of word , which also includes India. And in fact, 21st June is the day of the longest day and shortest night, which was just last week.

Despite the scorching heat, the month of June is very much liked by children and farmers, this month there is a complete holiday in schools and colleges, children stay at home and have fun. Farmers sow their new crops and wait for the monsoon.

Tell us a brief story of what you experienced this month.

I do not like the month of June at all, for me this month is the worst month. This time in this month all the records of heat were broken in our country, at some places the temperature went above 50 degrees and many people lost their lives due to heat.

Just now from 28th, per-monsoon has knocked in some areas of our country. The scorching heat and sun had affected the daily routine of the people, in some of our cities people were yearning for drinking water. Due to the falling water level of the rivers, the water supply system in many cities collapsed.

Due to not being able to go out of the house, people faced a lot of trouble in doing their work and business. Due to the holy festival of the Muslim community, Eid -ul -Azha, being in this month, they also face a lot of trouble in keeping their fasts.

Based on your numerous experience is June 2024 good or quite bad to you?

The month of June brings very bad experiences for me, in this month it became difficult for me to go out of the house due to the heat, somehow I spent this whole month.

The doctors have advised me not to go out of the house in this month, because once I became a victim of heat stroke and lack of water in the body due to this severe heat, then my life could be saved with great difficulty, I had to be admitted to the hospital for many days.

Thank God that today this month is at its last stage and monsoon has also knocked in our country. Now with the arrival of monsoon, a continuous fall in temperature will be recorded.

What are your plans for July 2024?

In the month of July, there will be heavy rains in our country and my city, although there are no pre-determined plans for this month, but as soon as this month arrives, I get the roof of my house cleaned.

And I also get the sources of water drainage from the roof checked. If I find any blockage, I get it opened. I get bleaching powder tablets put in the overhead water tanks.

In this month the chances of water contamination increase and along with that the risk of stomach and skin diseases also increases a lot.

And since I like the rainy season, I will get to eat pakodas [An Indian food prepared with vegetables]in it. I will reach on my roof in light rain and enjoy the showers.
