Market: My View, Myself Wk34

Good evening everyone

September is around the corner and I hope we have achieved some of our goals because the year will be ending soon as long as we are heading to the ember month. I have achieved few things this year and I intend to achieve more. @saintkelvin17 thanks for organizing this contest, I can't wait to see the word for next week.

What do you understand by the word Market?

The definition of market isn't difficult but in my own understanding i will say that market is a place where buying and selling occurs. Though anywhere can be a market as long as something was sold or bought in that area by some group of persons. Markets are all over the world and alot of things are being sold in the market. There's nothing we can't find in the market as long as markets has different categories where different foods are sold.

How often do you go to the market?

I go to the market once a month 😂, don't mind me please, I don't really have business with market stuff because my mum always put the responsibility of going to the market, upon herself. Ever since my elder sister got admission, she stopped going to the market because she's busy with school activities and she visits us only during holidays.

I haven't gone to the market this month yet and am currently preparing to go next week Saturday because there are some important items I need to get for myself. The market is very big and alot of goods are sold in that market. A friend of mine bought a wonderful foot wear in the market and I really admire it so much.

What's your unforgettable market experience?

This was when I went to the market and went to buy some important items for myself and my younger brother. There was an event that took place an d I felt for the woman involved. I was in the market when I saw alot of people selling things in the roadside, running away and I was surprised until I saw task force coming and they were running because the task force committee members have strictly warned them never to sell anything at the roadside because they are blocking road and occupying vital space.

While they were running I saw a woman that mistakenly fell inside a dirty river with her goods which was a bucket of periwinkle and she screamed so loud, I was surprised as alot of people ignored her because they don't really know what to do. The task force arrived at the scene and some young guys jumped inside the water to help the woman and I was happy she was saved, I can't forget this experience because I really felt pity for the woman and she got saved. Though she was crying because her goods wee gone.

Tell us about 5 things in the market and their current prices.

Smartphone: This is a device sold in the market, it has alot of function and it is very expensive. A friend of mine who participated in this contest said phones has different price and I will mention one of it's price which is NGN250,000

Bucket: We normally use this to store liquid things for s short period of time, there ate different sizes of buckets and the price of one of these sizes is NGN3,000

Pepper: We use this particular ingredient to cook our foods and it gives our food a very nice taste and a nutritional value, it's lowest price is NGN150

Shoe: This is a footwear we put on whenever we are going to different places, we have different kinds of footwears and there are special ones for females and males. One of the price is NGN17,000

Power bank This is sold at different rate in the market depending on it's various battery capacity, one of it's prices is NGN30,000
