My preference would be a business over a job. Indeed that are tons of privileges owning a job offers, for example in a job whether the company makes a profit or loss you still get paid but with a business you would have to bear the loss and all the damages incurred.
Yet again, I would rather own a business than having a job because with a business you are your own boss. You are not bothered about someone getting up one morning and firing you. Owning a business puts you in charge of decisions related to your finances.
How do you manage your monthly budget in a job or Business? |
---|
Despite my preference of a business over a job, I still don't have a business of my own at least not yet but I had a teacher occupation some time this year. That was while I awaited my varsity admission.
As a school teacher, I get paid a certain amount of money at the end of every month. I was working from home so, to some extent housing and feeding were not included in my budget. Most of it was spent saving for future expenses.
Nevertheless, when I finally own a business of my own in the future, I intend to concentrate more of the profit made in the business on reinvesting back at least for the first years of the business.
Skill or Education what is important for getting a handsome Job or running a successful business? |
---|
I would say skills, education is the act or process of impacting knowledge while skill is the ability to do something well. It is one thing to know and another thing to be able to apply ones knowledge.
Knowledge which is gotten from education of course does not guarantee a successful business. To be able to achieve the aimed height in any field you would need to apply attained knowledge and that is where skill comes to play.
It is the ability to apply ones knowledge efficiently. Ones placed this way, it is obvious skill is more advantageous to a business owner though the both of them work hand in hand.
Do you want to become a Boss or A Successful Businessman? |
---|
I would aim to be a successful business woman instead. A boss in a company or an organisation always has a big boss above him that oversees his activities and sends out compliments, queries and even a sack letter if necessary.
So a boss still tends to be a bigger boss subordinate but a successful business woman is different. I get to oversee the activities of others and make relevant decision for the business. I can make decision like deciding to expand the business or produce a new product.
I find the responsibilities and privileges of a successful business woman to be far more intriguing. It could get to a time were I might not even need to engage in manual work but still enjoy profit made.
Successful story of your preference Job or Business? |
---|
A short story of a successful business personal would be the story of one of the richest men in Africa, Aliko Dangote. A Nigerian business man also the founder, chairman and CEO of Dangote Group.
It all started as a small business he established and built from scratch in his younger days and then when he graduated from the university, he established Dangote limited, a small trading firm which is now the empire of today.
There just has to be something classy about owning a business.

What a nice post you've shared on business and jobs. I've learnt from your post that most at times it's skills and not education that makes one a successful person. This depends on doubt. It's also good to know you're passionate about business which makes you independent instead of working under someone. Thanks for the invite. Looking forward to reading more of your posts
