This was one of the usual morning of rushing out of the house to attend early morning lectures. That's waz when I just gained admission into the university. I just had to take this picture because I knew when I'll return from school that day , my face would be a mess.
Anyways , diving into the main main reasons you're reading this, let's talk about chocolate...

Briefly talk about three benefits of eating chocolate.

There are many benefits of eating chocolates. And many of the nutrients that are of good to you is from the cocoa powder.

Number benefit is that;

1It Increases heart health: The antioxidants in dark chocolate have been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of clotting and increase blood circulation to the heart, thus lowering the risks of stroke, coronary heart disease and death from heart disease.

Number two benefits is that;

2It improves brain function: I usually come across short advertisment done by some popular brand of chocolate manufacturers in Nigeria. And they usually portray a story of how children who drink thier chocolate products excell academically. Then, I use to think that it was an over exaggeration and marketing strategies. But I've come to realize that it actually improves brain function. Okay, the flavonols in dark chocolate have a positive impact on brain function, including better reaction time, visual-spatial awareness and stronger memory. Though research is ongoing, one reason for this may be that flavonols increase blood flow to the brain.

The third benefits is that;

3It boosts athletic performance: The epicatechin in dark chocolate increases the production of nitric oxide in the blood, which supports blood circulation and reduces the amount of oxygen an athlete uses while engaged in moderately intense exercise.This allows the athlete to maintain workout intensity for a long period.

Chocolate as we all know, is something little children will always ask for. The case was not different for me growing up as a child. I would cry and demand for it until I get it.
That sweet and refresh taste of chocolate is not a feeling you could resist as a child , especially if it has been refrigerated.
I love taking chocolate beverages most morning with others snacks.
Let me show you a pap I made recently. And because I added chocolate powder to it, it gave that brownish and creamy look.

Conclusion

Although chocolate has some health benefits, it is also good to know that too much of something is not good. You donโ€™t have to feel guilty about craving a food, whether itโ€™s chocolate or yam๐Ÿ˜‚. Make it moderate and maintain a daily balanced diet. In fact, labeling any food as completely off-limits usually results in increased cravings for that food and guilt when you eventually do eat it, the experts say.
