Winter

 

Winter is a magical season, there is a lot that makes it special:

• the nights become longer, that means it is already after 4PM started to become darker and we have long night, even in the morning at 7:30 AM still very dark

• the temperature indeed is going down, over night it could be sometimes -10 to -15 in cold years but if it is mild winter then usually it is around 0 to 1C. During the day temperature may go up to plus 10 to plus 15C

• usually the coldest month is January, sometimes towards the end and beg. Of February

• my favourite moment of winter is when it is snowing, especially snowing when it is dark and you can see lamp post with lights and snow falling down

• the most exciting about Winter is that it is time for Christmas Market and Christmas with New Year. Even though I am not a child any more I still love the feeling of fairy tale and think that all our wishes might come true. I always make a wish on New Year midnight.

Winter clothes

 

Typical winter clothes should cover:

• your body: that means we wear warm coats, sometimes they are called snow overall that is mostly for children so that they can play in snow without any problem

• hats, usually knitted and warm, they usually cover the forehead and ears so that we prevent ear infection

• warm boots usually till upper shins to make sure that snow is not fallen over the edges of boots

• knitted gloves for hands, so that kids can play snowball

The best and popular dish in winter, when it is cold and people get from outside inside of the house is just made and also home made chicken soup. That usually had a lot of energy, it is liquid so that we can easily eat and it lands in stomach and brings warmth from inside. There are many different ingredients:

• full chicken that you need to cut into the separate pieces and cook for about an hour

• once it I ready add everything else at once: onion, carrots, red pepper, noodles black paper

 

Skin in Winter

 

In winter it is important to have good care of your skin, as it is broken very easily, so when we come back home then I apply moisturising cream, on fat basis so that it has good protection and keeps skin smooth. We do not apply any of such care cream when we go out otherwise the liquid part of cream becomes cold and can cool skin.

 

Sightseeing in London

In Winter there are many tourists in London and everyone would like to visit sightseeing places at least once. This one is well known, it is Piccadilly circus with such a big screen and during winter, there are always a lot of winter songs, shows and just fun stuff is running. Many meet each there. From this place it is everything very close, you can easily walk to Parliament, Thames. That is why when someone decides to visit London then it is better to have even a little room for rent centrally so that you do not spend time with transport.

On other hand it is also quite crowded in winter, so for many who live there, people who live in London, sometimes prefer to spend Christmas holidays somewhere else.
