"Overpass in the Rainy Season"

Under the gray sky, the sound of rain broke the silence of the morning. I stood on the edge of the overpass, my favorite spot to take pictures. A thin mist hung in the air, shrouding the busy city below. Vehicles crept slowly, stuck in the routine traffic jam every rush hour.

I held my camera, trying to capture the perfect moment. In the distance, a small child ran with a yellow umbrella, creating a cheerful contrast amidst the gloomy color palette. I smiled, pressing the shutter button a few times.

Not far away, an old newspaper vendor stood on the corner, his body half wet, still faithfully offering his wares. He smiled at me when our eyes met. There was strength in his steadfastness, as if the rain was just a regular guest in his life.

As the rain began to ease, I stepped closer to the edge of the bridge, realizing the puddles below created a perfect reflection of the sky. I took one last shot, letting the memory of that morning be captured in silence.

Rain always brings a story, I thought. Today, it told me about a small hope amidst the crowd, about the strength to survive even though a storm was approaching. I walked down the bridge with a warm feeling, taking home not just photos, but life lessons.
