Explanation


Today, I am going to share the recipe for Chitoi Pitha with you all. Without further ado, let’s dive into the process of making this delicious pitha.


Chitoi Pitha is a very famous delicacy in Bangladesh. This pitha can be enjoyed in different ways. It can be paired with various mashed dishes, beef, sweet items, or prepared as milk Chitoi Pitha. I have never made this pitha before. Today is my first attempt at making it, which makes me quite excited!

First, I take an appropriate amount of water in a pot. Then, I place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil. I add a little salt to the water. Once the water starts boiling, I turn off the heat.

Next, I take the required amount of rice flour in a bowl. Then, I gradually add small amounts of hot water into the flour. Using a spoon, I mix the flour and water together.

I continue adding small amounts of water and mix the batter carefully. The mixture should neither be too thick nor too thin. The key to making perfect Chitoi Pitha is getting this batter right. Since this is my first time making it, I am a bit nervous—but let’s see how it turns out!

Now, I place a cast iron pan on the stove and heat it slightly over a low flame.

Then, I pour a small amount of the rice flour mixture into the pan. After that, I cover the pan with a lid. After a while, I lift the lid to check if the pitha has formed beautiful holes.

Next, I cover it again. At this stage, I keep the heat low. After some time, I uncover the pan and check—the Chitoi Pitha is now ready!

I continue making the rest of the Chitoi Pitha in the same way, following the steps carefully.

I have already mentioned that this pitha can be eaten in different ways. Today, I am going to taste it with roasted garlic mash. I usually prefer having it with spicy mashed items, so I prepare this side dish accordingly.

Saludos amiga muchas gracias por la invitación esta receta de chitoi pitha me parece muy buena idea para comer acompañada con una variedad de rellenos que pueden ser tanto dulces como salados, con esa crema picante como la que acostumbras comer o con dulce de leche si lo queremos comer dulce
