Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to share with you how the first day of January was a delicious meal. Having equalized meals during the whole of the day guarantees correct nutrition and strength. Therefore we should eat and balance our daily meals as healthily.
Usually, on the first day of a year, the food called milkrice is a food that is found everywhere in Sri Lanka. On any auspicious occasion, the food called milkrice is especially found in our society. Therefore, the first meal in my house on the first day of January was milkrice with onion sambal. milkrice and onion sambal are two foods that go well together.
Since I started the day with milkrice, I was able to work for a longer time with more energy. My mother had prepared rice with lentils, red potatoes and fried fish badum for lunch. I ended the lunch with a delicious meal of different colors. Even it's look you can also imagine how delicious those foods are.
That day, I spent most of my time on my academic activities. So, having something like snacks while studying is a trick that I use to work continuously without getting bored. Today I added spicy cashew nuts to my lunch.
When it was time for dinner, we all got free bakery food from the bakery near our house. From that, I chose an egg bun. The inside was coated with margarine and filled with a few pieces of egg.
That's how I got my food that day. When getting food, it is important to add healthy and nutritious foods to the body. Then we can protect ourselves from many diseases. I would like to invite my friends @sualeha, @m-fdo and @enamul17 to this contest.
