Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W6: "Tell us about that accident or incident in the kitchen"

Hi and good day to you all, if you see my post I hope you are well, I am well too. This is the steemit engagement challenge season nine and week six as I come to take part in the contest titled "Tell us about that accident or incident in the kitchen" here and now in the steemit iron chef community.

There are many incidents that took place in the kitchen not only when cooking as in the kitchen one can go to clean up the dishes, clean up the kitchen or rather still go to keep raw foods for cooking. Some people do keep their freezer in the kitchen here by making them visit each time.

My case is not very different, as I also have an incident that happened in the kitchen I would never forget and always take precaution each time am in the kitchen that it doesn't happen again. Without wasting time, I write using the tips give for this contest below.

I was a newbie in the kitchen when I first left home for school at my teenage age, so I had to prepare something to eat, and this was noodles. I put it on the fire and tried slicing onion to it, then I cut off my hand and o started bleeding.

This wasn't an easy incident as I was rushed down to the hospital for treatment and since then I have been grounding my onion using a mini grounder.

I couldn't help it as it was on my left hand and I could not treat myself because I had no first aid treatment tools in the house. I was rushed to the hospital by my friend also waiting for me to cook and let's eat.

Since then, and anything that has to do with me slicing in the kitchen, I would always look for assistance. It is either I slice from the market or use my grounder to ground it. Also, I got myself a first aid box at home as to treat myself when this occurs again rather than running up and down for treatment in the hospital.

I do smile when I get to remember this incident as it was a rush and seek for help something, but it made me always take many preventions while in the kitchen.
