Today is the beginning of another weekend, so I want to start this weekend by participating in one of the competitions in the Steemit Iron chef called My star Dish.
What is the best dish you have learned to cook?
Here in Nigeria, we are richly blessed with thousands of different cuisines and we widely enjoy it taste, aroma and flavour. Every human was born with little or no knowledge to cook, so it is left for us to grow up and learn how to Cook varieties of meals.
The best dish I have learnt to cook is Fried Rice with chicken salad. I was curious to learn different types of Rice preparation because it is known worldwide apart from being one of my favourite meals. I can't skip eating rice at least once or twice a week.

It was my mother who taught me how to prepare different delicacies. She is an incredibly chef who cooks with joy and passion.
Irrespective of how tight the kitchen condition, she will always come out with a delicious meal.
👩🍳 Why do you like this dish, what makes it so special?
Fried Rice is a yummy flavour dish that is rich in protein and has Savory taste because of the garlic and ginger use in it preparation. The rice texture and crunchy vegetables makes it enjoyable while eating.
This meal is simple and easy to prepare but always presentable at all time when serving.

👩🍳 For what special occasion would you prepare this dish?
Fried Rice with Chicken is appealing immediately you see it and is generally served in different special occasions. It is the most popular meal out of all. We often prepare this meal during family gatherings, festival, wedding ceremonies, marriage anniversary, dinner party and lot more.
Here in my country, soups are not widely value in every occasions exception of only two soups. To round it all there is no occasion we attain without seeing jollof Rice. Eating it brings people together and serves as a symbol of shared identity and heritage.
