Greetings friends of Steemit and Steemit Iron Chef
Today I'll share a very interesting story about the world richest temple Tirupati Balaji at Tirumala of Andhra Pradesh in India. Lord Venkateswara or the husband of Padmavathi alias Lakshmi also famous as Lord Vishnu is the deity of the famous temple.
As per the Vishnu Purana lord took loan from kubera for the marriage expenses. He was supposed to return the money and gold at an early date.
Unfortunately he failed to repay and kubera as a collateral security took charge of Laxmi with due respect and homage to her.
In order to free Laksmi from kubera it is a ritual of all Hindus to donate money or gold at Tirupati Temple at least once in a lifetime if not every year. It's also the belief of the devotees that the loan will be repaid before the end of Kaliyuga.
It's good to power up for the betterment and strengthening the Steemit platform and Steem for our future. I power up every week and I power up 50% of my liquid steem accumulated in the previous week. I always maintain Club5050 status in order to strengthen my steem power and vote value.
Today I'll burn 17 steem to Steem power. I took a screenshot of wallet to show my SP before power up. My steem power was 3,461.306.

I signed in wallet with valid key. I clicked on arrow beside Steem to open the drop down menu. I selected power up button. I took 17 Steem to power up. Clicked on the OK for confirmation.

As power up is successfully done I have taken another screenshot to share the Steem power after power up. My Steem power is found to be 3,478,307. So my power up is precisely 17.001.
