Hi, dear SIC fellows!
Today I'm happy to join the New Weekly Dynamic in the Steemit Iron Chef Community with this delicious kalimotxo & frozen watermelon I made yesterday afternoon. Today is Friday, and the topics are #sicdesserts & #sicdrinks, and our dear SIC Leader @crisvera is in charge :)
Kalimotxo cocktails are ideal for a warm evening.
I used Pepsi-Cola and tempranillo red wine to prepare this drink.
I was prompted to add frozen watermelon, which I had in the freezer. The tempranillo was Viña Tomilla, a young and inexpensive red wine I bought at Traki for $5.
To prepare this kalimotxo with patilla you only need one part cola, one part red wine, and one part frozen patilla chopped into small pieces.
Drink it well chilled. I enjoyed mine in excellent company, while relaxing in the living room overlooking the backyard.
It was a warm and quiet afternoon, like those made to enjoy a soothing drink.
