Weekend food preparation (Okro Soup)

Good evening my wonderful people of steem and Steemit. It's a beautiful Friday evening. I hope some of us are preparing or have prepared our weekend meals/ food. I know some people will do their by tomorrow which is Saturday because of their work and schedule.

Here is my own weekend food and the preparation. Well I decided to prepare an okro soup to be eaten with fufu because I'm not a fan of garri. My okro soup always go well with fufu or semo for me. I don't know about your preference. You can let us know ar t the comment section.

MY RECIPE FOR THE OKRO SOUP

1: OKRO
2: Uzuza leaf
3: fresh tomatoes
4: fresh pepper
5: meat
6: kpanla fish
7: crayfish
8: oil
9: salt
10: maggi

PROCEDURE:

Wash the meat and dry kpanla fish, steam with seasoning,.
Blend the fresh tomatoes and pepper.
Chop your okro to the sizes preferable to you.
Slice your Uzuza leaf
Place a dry post on the gas steam
Pour in a preferable quantity of oil depending on your likes and add little quantity of diced onion if you like it in your soup.
Stir and add your blended tomatoes and pepper.
Allow to boil for some minutes then add your seasonings and crayfish including the teamed meat and fish.
Taste to check if you are ok with it.
Cover your pot and allow to cook well.

After boiling or cooking for about 20 minutes, open the pot and pour in your chopped okro and stir very well. Add the meat stock and water of need be. For me I used only the meat stock.
Add the Uzuza leaf instantly if you don't want your okro to be half done and stir everything together. Cover your pot and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes and your okro soup is ready. Very delicious and unique.

You can try out the recipe if you haven't tried it before. It is very good and gives satisfaction. Maybe you should give it a try and see how it comes out. I want to invite my mentor @goodybest to tell me how she prepares her okro soup.
