It is beetroot week🥘🥘

Today I am going to make you beetroot with a local Sri Lankan dish. We call it "Wandu". Then today I am going to wandu with beetroot. This is sweet of dish.

Used ingrediants

• Beetroot
• Management Rice
• Suger
• Salt
• Water

This method is a little different than normal wandu. First, wash the rice thoroughly to the required. Put the washed rice in a glass jar. If we take a cup of rice, add a cup of water the same size as that cup. Cover the mixture for 24 hours.
Normally if you put it in today at ten in the morning, use some rice tomorrow at ten in the morning.

The rice was kept for 24 hours.

Wash the beetroot well and cut into small pieces. Add the remaining rice mixture and all the beetroot sugar and grind well. Use only the water in the rice.

The mixture steam well.

Add cinnamon sticks and cardamom sugar to the boiling water. Then cut a few in beetroot slices and boil well.

This comes with a nice aroma and taste.

Beetroot caramel

We all know how to make a caramel. The specialty here is that I add beetroot to it.

The beetroot caramel I made goes well with the Wandu.

The natural color of beetroot gives the dish a nice finish.
