What is National Register of Citizenship ( NRC)

Todays its in trend in indian news channel. Govt. Of india has passed NRC Amendment bill in cabinet and soon it will be introduced in lower and upper parliament to get passed.

First of all lets know about NRC and why it looks controversial ?

As per govt.of india , they wants to gift those non-muslim refugee from other country like pakistan ,bangladesh and afganistan where they were in minority and under privileged . They are presently staying india and don't want to go back to their own country as their life is not very easy to live .

Govt. Of india wants to adopt them but opposition party in india taking as 2 nation theory and making it big issue for the muslim community . As per owaisi " a party leader" its a biased with muslims and division by religion .as per BJP leaders it is nothing to worry for muslims as they just want to adopt all those refugee from islamic republic countries like bangladesh , pakistan and afaganistan.

India is secular country and always care about their citizenship but those refugee wants to stay in india then this bill helps them to get them permanently staying in india.

Briefly , Assam is the first state of india where NRC is in law to just protect the identity of Assamese .and same thing govt.of india wants to implement in other state of country with some amendments.
