Hello sTeeMiaNs

My activity today : SATURDAY, NOV 27th2021

Welcome to see you again on Saturday, follow the Health protocol, stay safe and don't forget to give alms.....!!!

Friend steemians wherever you are, today I want to share my activities at home on the weekend. A few days ago I saw that my bidara tree, which consisted of several tree trunks, had already produced a lot of fruit and some had even fallen and fallen to the ground because the fruit was ripe.

Maybe my steemians have heard of the bidara tree or even have a tree full of these benefits. The Arabic bidara tree with the Latin name Ziziphus mauritiana is a herbal plant that is often used as traditional medicine by the community, especially in Islamic societies. This bidara tree has a height of 6-15 meters with the characteristic of having thorns on the branches. This bidara tree can be planted in the ground or in pots according to individual conditions.

In Islam, this bidara plant is considered to have many benefits, even its name is mentioned in the Qur'an (Surah Al-Waqi'ah Verse 27-32) as a plant in heaven even though the lote tree in heaven is different from what it is now.

This bidara tree can be used as a traditional medicine by utilizing the fruit and leaves to be used as needed, even now there are many cosmetic products and other products that use bidara such as bidara soap, bidara oil and others. Bidara can also be used and processed by boiling the leaves or making bidara tea.

Currently I have several bidara trees that I planted two years ago when the covid 19 pandemic began. At that time there was an implementation of Work From Home to reduce the spread of covid 19 cases where local governments impose limited working hours for employees and the rest work from their homes. And when the work from home was implemented, I had more time to carry out my hobbies including making a koi fish pond and making a garden in my front yard and planting various flowers and vegetables. And one of the plants I planted is this arabic bidara tree.

I planted this arabic bidara tree which started with the seedling process, where I took the ripe bidara fruit then took the seeds and did the drying process, and after opening my hard skin just got the seeds of the bidara fruit for me to sow. After the next nursery process, I transferred the newly grown bidara seeds to polybags so that they could grow better and when the bidara tree height reached approximately 40 centimeters, I transferred it to soil media.

Today I picked some yellow bidara fruit for me to eat and also took the seeds for me to sow. There are two types of bidara in my house, one of which is bigger and tastes a bit sweet like an apple, while the smaller one has a slightly tart taste.

Picking Bidara Fruit

My children also really like to eat this bidara fruit, especially the big one because it tastes like an apple. My bidara fruit is also often asked for by residents passing by in front of my house as today when I was picking bidara fruit three Babinsa happened to pass by and they asked for and tasted our bidara fruit.

This afternoon I also made bidara tea as usual for me to drink. I made it in a very simple way, namely by drying the bidara leaves that I picked and then crushed (crushed) and stored it in a bottle. When I was about to make bidara tea I took the bidara leaves that had been stored in the bottle and I brewed them in hot water. To get more benefits and add to the taste I add 1-2 tablespoons of honey.

This afternoon I chose a simple menu for my dinner. Incidentally this afternoon I bought mushrooms at the market and my son also asked for noodles so we made our dinner menu today, which is delicious Indomie Mushroom.

This mushroom is a local product from local residents who cultivate mushrooms as a side business. Mushrooms also contain nutrients that are good for health and taste very delicious and this mushroom is one of my and my family's favorite vegetables.

Wah, kami juga punya pohon Bidara udah 3 meter,.. kirain gx berbuah dan batangnya yang dijadikan benih.
Pantesan capek kita semai gx tumbuh-tumbuh...🤣🤣🤣
