Hello my friends Steemians. Already being in my school vacations, in the Gran Sabana, I found this wonderful tree.

Scientifically it is called Ligustrum Lucidum. The fruits are blackish to bluish, shiny berries.

Doing some research I found out that this plant is native to the southern half of China and that the drupes were used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat "sexual weakness" as well as fatigue.

In both Argentina and Uruguay, it is considered an invasive tree, reproducing more and more in forests and wetlands.
