My entry to the Contest, I love gardening | Show your favorite flowers!🌷🌻🌹️. Desert Rose.

🌷Greetings to flower lovers🌷

I learned from my mother the taste or preference for flowers, I remember that since I was little I was her companion when she visited her friends, they always ended up talking about plants and flowers in front of the friend's garden, who asked her to save some of the plants that she had liked for the next visit, so she was populating her garden with various species of flowers.

Now I have my own garden thanks to her apprenticeship. In me it awakened that eagerness to take care of plants, including, planting, pruning, fertilizing among other things related to plants.

Plants have a letter of introduction that are the flowers, I like many, but there are always the favorites. This time I went to the nursery to buy a beautiful flowering plant such as the Desert Rose, also known as: kudu, or winter rose, to show it in my garden and dedicate my attention to it. I liked the flower, until it became a reality.

Desert Rose, whose scientific name is: Adenium obesum, is a slow growing shrub, with evergreen leaves, sensitive to cold and excess water. Its flowers look like a trumpet, with five petals of colors such as: white, red, pink and bicolor. It is also recommended that the plant receives direct sunlight, moderate watering.

I like the desert flower because it is linked to natural beauty, I consider it an exotic flower, it is not common to find it in gardens, that is why from this moment on I will take care of my plant.
