The sensation of picking and enjoying the freshness of melons straight from the garden

Well, this time I want to share with my steem garden friends about how exciting it was for me to visit a melon garden in Cot Trieng village, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh. This garden was initiated by two young men from Paloh Punti whose garden was named "Rumoh Melon Atjeh" with his Instagram account @Rumoh_Melon_Atjeh. I actually planned this visit a few days ago, I saw his Instagram account before visiting and it really sparked my desire to make up my mind to visit there after seeing some portraits of the garden on social media.

Coincidentally, my weekend was off, so I invited some friends to visit there. The place is very interesting, we can enjoy the atmosphere of the melon garden and can directly pick it ourselves to enjoy.

This garden is gardened in the form of a greenhouse which is very unique, like an agro-tourism place with a garden area of ​​10 x 25 meters. This garden is still the age of corn, with the management period for one year ago. During this one year only produced 2 harvests. And this melon garden is still in the experimental stage, the owner also doesn't stop trying every effort to produce more satisfying melons with the texture and taste that customers want.

This melon plant is cared for with love, every day the melon plant is watered with fertilizer so that it continues to bear fruit and maintain plant growth and avoid pests. Being there really makes the eyes sparkle with the dense melons.

When we visited they were harvesting, and we also harvested melons that were old or had their time to be harvested. The melons are grown in two types, namely green honey melon and yellow melon. There are differences in the shape of these two types of melon, the yellow melon has a slightly oval shape and the color is more yellow. While the green melon is rounder in shape and the color from the outside looks greener.

The sensation of picking yourself and being able to eat directly in the garden is indeed more delicious than buying it at the fruit tax that has been marketed. The melon texture is very soft and the taste is very sweet, plus the aroma is very seductive. This is one of the first melon gardens I visited in Lhokseumawe city.
