Greetings gardeners!

It is a great pleasure to write to you to tell you about my plants of Zephyranthes carinata, also called Rain Lilies.

They are spectacular plants originally from Mexico, with delicate ephemeral but adorable flowers.

Its reproduction occurs mainly by bulbs, which must be planted in well-drained soils and with a good moist substrate.

They are plants that reproduce freely in mountain areas that reach heights of up to 2000 m.a.s.l., with temperate climates, at an annual average of 18 ° Celsius.

In general, they require little care, their flowers appear after the rains, or when good humidity and sun are reached, during the first quarter of the year.

At home we enjoy the flowers on several sides, among the lawn of the garden. Even when we can flush, they sprout again. The bulbs have remained underground for more than 8 years and every time it rains, they give us their beautiful and subtle flowers with a pink of different shades, for up to 48 hours, then they wither appearing others.

They are very subtle little plants, they look fragile and delicate, but beautiful.
They remind me of my daughter.
