Sand Into Humus Soil
Hello everyone, this time I will tell you about the unused land behind my workplace. At first this place had a practice pool which only contained sand. So it is not the right place for farming.
However, since the corona virus hit, this place has just been neglected. Left exposed to rain and heat every day. This place has been left unused at all since March 2020. Over time, this side of the place is also used to put plants in pots, especially fruit and ornamental plants. All the plants are well cared for, watered regularly and also given fertilizer. Often the fertilizer also falls into this sandbox.
And what happened over time?
Yesterday I had a need to practice on terrestrial ecosystems. I also dug this location. And the result was beyond expectation. It turned out that when I dug with a hoe, there were a lot of earthworms here. Plant roots from various pots have also penetrated the pots and reached the filled sandbox. And the sand is increasingly disappearing into fertile humud soil.
Nature always finds it’s way to win.
Sincerely @majanan
