Hello friends! How are you all? Hope you are very well me too. Today I'm going to share about Shwetakanchan or Dwarf White Bauhinia flower.
Shwetakanchan or Dwarf White Bauhinia, White Orchid-tree, and Snowy Orchid-tree (scientific name: Bauhinia acuminata) is a shrub of the Fabaceae family. Although they are not known for their extensive cultivation, they are thought to have come from Malaysia or Indonesia.
Shwetakanchan is a deciduous tree up to 3-4 meters tall. The leaves are 8-12 cm long and 6-10 cm wide. The apex of the leaf is divided into two parts, smooth, and the lower veins slightly hairy.
Flowers bloom from March or April to October or November. In a bunch of leaf chambers in a few buds, white, odorless, 5 cm wide, the number of petals is five, and petals are free.
The pods are flat, cracked, and gray like beans. The bunch of the plant can be trimmed.
Thank you and have a nice day.
