Hi Everyone. Good Afternoon, how are you, I hope you are all in good health always. See you again @maulidar. On the occasion of this happy day, I will share the beauty of the Pitahaya flower in my house as an ornamental plant from the cactus clan.
Pitahaya or dragon flower is a cactus-shaped plant that has beauty with large flowers that are very different from other flowers. And which has a bright white color that is very luxurious as the beauty of the house.
Not with the radiance of its majestic beauty. Pitahaya or as the scientific name Hylocereus which comes from flora Mexico and America is very well known in Indonesia as a plant that has fruit that can be consumed or as a food fruit that has advantages and benefits in a solution of fresh juice in our pribasa which is often called dragon fruit.
This plant that I have grown since 2020 as an ornamental plant has now turned into a large creeping plant which is very difficult to manage in a pot, because Hylocereus wants to live in open areas and is not difficult to care for.
Not all species of flowering cactus turn into fruit, moreover the fruit can be used as food, so I will enjoy the beautiful flowers before turning into fruit as a healthy food fruit. Or I will enjoy both after a few days. Let's see before changing the Pitahaya flower in my photography:
