HOW TO MAKE ST. JOHN'S WORT OIL ?

First I want to talk about the John Wort's bloom time. Actually it's impossible to know :)
You see our garden on mountain at the photo. This garden is 45 min far away from our home. To find John's worth oil we are going again and again. Sometimes we find our garden yellow in spring. Sometimes we think that "oooh we lost this year's harvest season". Than in september; when we go without thinking about John Wort, we see all garden is in yellow.

My favorite thing about gardening is self-growing plants. It's possible to planting John's Wort but we are lucky to have it in our garden.

HOW TO PRODUCE THE OİL?
• We need especially the yellow flower of John Wort. Leafs are not necessary.
• Wash the flowers well and dry them.
• Put them in a jar ( just put as much as you can).
• Pour olive oil in the jar. ( I use the cold press ones )
• Cover the lid with cheesecloth
• Keep the jar out of the sunlight (soaking in the sun is recommended but I'm against that style. Because sunlight is not good for olive oil. )
• Wait for 2-3 month.
• When you will see the red color as the 4th photo it's ready.
• John Wort oil is can be used for many purposes but you have to ask your doctor surely. But I can say that I use for my skin care. We use it especially skin burn and wounds. It can be useful for some pains. But surely you have to know if you are allergenic and ask your doctor first.
John Wort is used as dry also to drink as tea. But I don't use like this. If I can do it in 2022 I can share also it's details.
