Flowers From Childhood

Hello friends,

I hope your day is going well? Mine is.
So later today i felt a bit lonely and tired and i decided to take a walk around my place of work. I did take some pictures of myself though but then I came across these beautiful nature you see here.

I was intrigued to take the photos of these flowers not because they were just beautiful but because they brought back childhood memories. As a young girl, my friends and I seem to love these flowers. Almost every neighborhood had it. It was always the red ones available and I never knew they were other colours until today.

So we usually just pluck a piece of the red part and remove the stick like middle part which comes with a liquid substance and then we licked it! I know this sounds weird but the content was sort of sugary and you know kids love sugary stuff.

It felt good to be reconnected to my childhood again today and that makes me happy. I hope you find something that makes you happy too.
