”What is a weed? A plant whose virtuese have not been discovered.”
Trust me, that's not my quote. I'm not as famous as Ralph Waldo Emerson or Pablo Neruda. It is impossible for words as cool and meaningful as that to come out of my mouth.
I'm just an art-worker who loves coffee and likes farming. Because for me, it's like dealing with a good and loyal friend.
”You can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming.”
-Pablo Neruda
In particular, I love gardening because all kinds of plants, especially flowers, always have an eye-catching charm. The flowers emit a fragrance that gives peace and serenity. Uniquely, at a certain point flowers have the ability to reduce stress and improve mood. Even at a deeper level, flowers are able to express feelings that cannot be expressed in words. Overall, flowers are one of the most beautiful gifts that God has given us, humans.
In a larger scope, plants are also a unit that we must preserve and love like beautiful flowers. Because basically it is impossible to talk about improving lifestyles in order to save the planet without participating in efforts to plant as many trees as possible. Even if it's too hard to do alone, we can start by farming behind the house by growing several types of vegetables. Or maybe a small garden in front of the house to plant some beautiful flowers.
”To forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil is to forget ourselves.”
-Mahatma Gandhi
There is nothing really difficult to just dig the soil and take care of the seeds until they grow big and benefit us. As a bonus, the activity of growing plants is a very pleasant experience.
”If you've never experienced the joy of accomplishing more than you can imagine, Plant a garden.”
-Robert Brault
So if you don't think of me as a weed here, and aren't bothered by my views on plants, allow me to be a part of this community.
