Dear brothers and sisters, how are you all? I hope by the grace of God you are all well. I am also good by the grace of God.

My name is Md. Sourav. My father is a farmer and my mother is a housewife. We are one brother and one sister. I am currently an unemployed youth. Due to my family's financial situation, I could not continue my studies. I was able to study up to class 10. After 1 year in the cake factory, I quit that job and now I am unemployed.We also have some land and our family lives on the money that comes from it. My father also occasionally goes to Dhaka, our capital city, to ride a rickshaw.

My father planted some betel trees in our small land. They are about 2 years old. My father and I see and hear these. It is important to keep in mind that any type of cow or goat cannot destroy them.

Supari or Gua is a fruit of the genus Erica in the family Ericasia. Its scientific name is Areca catechu. Their round stoned seeds are crushed in drinking spice. It is a harmful and intoxicating substance. Some people get intoxicated just by eating betel nut.

To get good yield from betel tree, if the age of the tree is one year then 200 g urea, 100 g TSP and 100 g MOP fertilizer should be given for each plant.

Eating betel nut is also useful in curing worms, blood dysentery, indigestion etc. Chewing raw betel leaves makes the body feel hot, even the body may get sweaty.
