Wow it sounds a lot like California where I used to live. I would always have to go just a little bit early to get a good parking spot and would still have to double park in front of someone.

I moved back to Arizona now where everything is more spread out an we don't have to deal with that usually. For a city with around 1.8 million people, Phoenix doesn't feel as congested as other cities.
