My greetings to you all, hope you all are doing good, This blog is about my participation in SEC - S8W1 | How much of a scout am i? conducted by @hive-181136. Thankyou for the wonderful contest. Here is my entry.

After reading the 10 articles of the Scout Law, select at least one of them and explain why it caught your attention.

The Scout Law is a set of principles that all scouts are expected to uphold. It contains ten articles, each of which represents an important aspect of character that is essential for a scout. After reading the 10 articles of the Scout Law, I was particularly drawn to the principle of "The scout is thrifty, cares for and respects the good of others."

This principle highlights the importance of being frugal and careful with resources. It also emphasizes the importance of being considerate and compassionate towards others. In my opinion, this is an incredibly valuable lesson for young people to learn. In today's world, where resources are often scarce and many people struggle to make ends meet, being thrifty and caring for the good of others is more important than ever.

Share with us an anecdote or an experience that you have had in which you can demonstrate the affinity with said article of the Scout law.

I remember an experience from my childhood that demonstrates the importance of this principle. When I was young, my family went through a difficult financial period. We were struggling to make ends meet, and we had to cut back on many things that we had previously taken for granted. Despite this, my parents always emphasized the importance of being kind and considerate towards others, even when we ourselves were struggling.

One day, we received a call from a family friend who was going through a difficult time. They were facing financial difficulties of their own, and they were struggling to provide for their children. Without hesitation, my parents offered to help in any way they could. They gave the family some of our own resources, even though we were already struggling ourselves. This experience taught me that being thrifty and caring for the good of others is not just about being careful with resources, but also about being compassionate and empathetic towards others.

While I don't personally know any scouts, I do know that scouting is a popular activity in many countries around the world. One scout who has made headlines recently is Greta Thunberg, who became an advocate for environmentalism after starting a school strike for climate action in 2018. She is a member of the scout organization in Sweden, and she has used her platform to encourage other young people to get involved in activism and advocacy.

In terms of the motto of a scout unit, one example is the motto of the Boy Scouts of America, which is "Be Prepared." This motto emphasizes the importance of being ready for anything and always being ready to lend a helping hand to others. It is a simple yet powerful message that is essential for all scouts to understand and uphold.

Hola @ajay27, gracias por unirte al concurso.

El artículo que seleccionaste "El scout es ahorrativo, se preocupa y respeta el bien de los demás", es muy importante ya que hoy en día podemos ver como las personas se quieren adueñar de los bienes de otro.

La anécdota que nos comentas habla muy bien de tus padres, aun pasando por un momento difícil, no dudaron en tenderle la mano en todo lo que pudieron a ese amigo de la familia.

Tengo algunas sugerencias para ti, no coloques párrafos tan largos en tus publicaciones, un máximo de 6-7 líneas está bien para no saturar al lector, por otro lado recuerda que debes invitar usuarios que estén activos.

Saludos amigo fue una excelente entrada la que acabas de realizar, el ser ahorrativos es algo que ayuda mucho sobre todo cuando hay muchas cosas por pagar y el sueldo no alcanza.

Que bueno que la experiencia que pasaron tu y tu familia cuando eran pequeños te ayudo ahora a valorar todo, eso es lo más importante tomarle valor a lo que uno cree que es pequeño por qué existen muchas personas que lo necesitarian, saludos.
