Esteem greetings fellow members and friends! I am here today with my entry for the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 13 Week 4, in the Scouts y sus Amigos Community. Before I get down into business , permit me invite @beautiful12, @pandora2010, @eliany, @yolvijrm, @fombae, @bongk, @napito, @sahmie, @princa, @rafk and @slon21veka to come partake in this contest.

Are you proud of the age you are? or are you one of those who take off or put on age?

I am much more of a realistic person who believes so much in facts and numbers. It is worth mentioning that I am somewhat 27 years old and I am enjoying the process as life unveils its mysteries with age. Being someone who embraces the facts, I rarely add to my actual age when said. As for the very slim chance that I get to increase my actual age, 90% of such a time was to impress or increase my chances of getting a date 😂. I'm glad that's all in the pass now (some years back).

Is it really the same to be 20 years old than 65?

On a very large scale of comparison, someone at 20 years will differ in almost all categories compared to someone at 65 years. It's worth pointing out that I am speaking from an observatory point of view, given that I am yet to experience the pros and cons that comes with hitting age 65.
Haven said that, I solidly retain my statement that someone at 20 years will differ in almost all categories compared to someone at 65 years. Below is a comparison table between persons at Ages 20 and 65.

CATEGORIESAGED 20AGED 65
Views of lifeGazing into the futureRemembering the past
Efforts to achieveStrives to achieve their goals with timeLook back on their achievements and prepare those coming up.
HealthLess subjected to multiple sicknessesMore liable to multiple sicknesses
CompanionshipPrefer to live away from familyPrefer to live amongst family members
Life's experiencesLess experience due to fewer challenges seenMore experience due to more challenges seen with time

How old would you like to be right now and why?

Truth be told, I'd prefer my present age mainly because I have gained experience with the normal aging process. Having to go through 365 days just to add up another year has gradually instilled patience, tolerance, and above all time management. I won't wish to be younger or older, however the only wish I could make is to right the wrongs I made while aging. Even with this wish, it wouldn't have come into existence of I didn't grow on, thus bringing forth better experience. I would like to be 27 years old today, so as to experience all that life has to give😊.

Do you agree with the special treatment of the laws for older people?

I absolutely have no objections to the special treatment laws for the elderly, it is somewhat a necessity. I personally believe that an elderly person (especially those in there old age), deserve all the care and love they get because I compare their needs and vulnerability to that of a 0-5 year old child. Referring you to my response to question 2 above, you'll clearly see me stating that the elderly are more liable to multiple disease, and as such should be given special attention quickly.

Do you think 18 is old enough to be considered an adult?

To be frank on this matter, I've always taken the side for (yes) on such a debate. It would surprise you how often I use to find myself in the midst of such a debate, but I always had something positive and negative to say with respect to this. At 18 years, teenagers are somewhat at a curious phase of life wherein, they could easily grab and/or release new habits and/or old habits respectively. So releasing these teenagers as adults at such an age is doable, since they themselves can shape their future thereon. Now, the call for concern comes in with the kind of companions they have, and the strength of their morale upbringing (rights and wrongs).
It is absolutely unfair to dismiss the process of becoming an adult at age 18, simply because a couple of teenagers didn't make right choices when handed that step of liberty.

I say "thank you" to Scouts y sus amigos for such an amazing week! Cheers 🥂 to y'all in advance, for supporting my publication.

Awesome bro I didn't know you even tried to impress a date 😜 you looked so cute for that, going through your post made me realize the true meaning of age and it's not just a number, because with age comes different forms of experience and certain age groups need more attention than others.

Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much @bongk for stopping by to support my entry, I truly do appreciate you for that.

Thanks very much 🙏 @enamul17 for noticing and rewarding my publication. A big thank you to Team 4

Hi friend you compared excellently the age 20 Vs 65 I really like your view on different age group. I think like you 18 year is not enough to give them liberty as adult. Best of luck for the contest dear. I have made contest post too. It will be highly appreciated if you give your feedback
