SEC-S8W6. "the first time"

Greetings everyone in Scouts y sus Amigos community! I sincerely hope you are all doing well with your family members; by the grace of God, my health and that of my family are doing well. Here is @fonjougiresse writing from the country of Cameroon, specifically from Yaoundé-Bonas. I am happy and delighted to write in this community. This topic of the week is about "the first time."

We all have first times in our lives, but there are some that are more special and memorable than others, and I am going to share with you the ones that were special to me.

To be honest, I don’t remember winning a contest in real life. I may have won, but like I said, there are certain things that we forget, but on Steemit, I have already won a contest, even though I don’t still remember exactly which contest it was. It was the second place that I won, and it was great since by that time I was a newbie.

I had two experiences with a phone.
The first was when I was in form five and my father gave me a button phone (what we commonly call tchoronko in my country). I was so excited because only a few of us had cell phones in class.

But I rapidly get irked with the phone because my contacts were limited, the options in the phone were limited, and coupled with all that, there was no game.

After that, I had a smart phone that was still a gift, which was really impressive because I had many other smart phones aside from that; but what was really interesting was the one I bought with my own money.

It was the model I wanted, and I saved money for it for a very long time. It is a RedMe 9 (Xiaomi), and it is what I have been using until now.

Pay checks are not popular in my country, so I don’t yet have one, but we manually get paid in banks since I am in the private sector. The first job I had was not that special to me because it did not meet my needs.

In all that, the first time that was special to me was when I had my own place for me alone. Yes, I left my family house since and was living on my own, but during that period, my parents were still taking care of me and I was still depending on them. But after my master’s degree, I was totally free of my parents' care.

That was the greatest joy I experienced. But all that happiness came along with a burden, which is that I have to look for money to earn a decent living, which is not an easy task.
