Introduction

There are moments of life we capture in pictures, some of which represent a moment of reflection of happiness, moments of escape from danger, finding new interesting things around and so on.

I have got some rare pictures to share with you today, they are all rare but with high value representing a true moment worthy of documentation.

First Image - Capturing my Wedding Ring

A friend of mine came around some time ago and saw my wedding ring on my finger, he jokingly expressed his feelings that he thought I would have removed it. I smiled on that day and told him I always have the ring on me all the time.

Sometime later, I remembered what the guy said about the ring on my finger and I took a picture of it, precisely on Jan 27th 2024. I remember writing a tweet about it that even though it's not a diamond ring I gladly wear it with pride. It's a precious image to me.

Second Image - A Meme website capture

The second image on my list today is a tribute to Valentine's Day, I deemed it fit to design a meme website people can share with their loved ones for a random selection of gifts. I themed it ValGiftSelector and had it hosted on my Github account. After it was ready, I took a picture of the landing page of my meme website.

I have an array of gifts on the code of this meme website with around 6 items that include a dinner date, cinema date, jewellery and so on. A user can easily click the show my gift button to get his/her random gifts.

It worked well for some friends as they requested having more gifts on the array to suit what they can offer their loved ones. It's one of that playful coding moments I had to document on 11th February 2024. You can also play around with it here - https://btcfixesthis.github.io/ValGiftSelector/.

Third Image -

I narrowly escaped burning down the house on February 24 2024. It was one of those stressful days, I came back home tired at night and my wife was on night duty. I felt the urge to eat boiled eggs that night and I entered the kitchen to make 2 eggs and set them on fire. I made my way to the bedroom just to relax a bit before checking back on the egg in ten minutes.

Unfortunately, I didn't set a timer on my phone. I slept off and only woke about an hour later when my alarm rang for one of my daily activities. I woke up and was choked with the smoke from the burnt eggs.

The kitchen, sitting room and other parts of the house were filled with smoke. The water has dried off and the eggs are burnt already. I tried hard to reach the gas cooker and turned it off. It was a narrow escape because I couldn't imagine what kind of debt I would be into now from burning down my landlord's house and other people's properties.

Conclusion

In conclusion, pictures symbolize moments of life that are important to the photographer and they speak clearer language, so we can easily see what message they are passing across by mere glance. Some are rare images of reflection of life or escape from danger and I have shared with you three rare pictures. I hereby invite @chilaw, @patjewell and @wilmer1988 to participate in the contest.

Dear @fredquantum,

I wanted to take a moment to express how impressed I am with the way you described the stories behind each photograph. The first photograph of your wedding ring is a beautiful reminder that what truly matters are the emotions and feelings behind a gift, rather than the material possessions themselves. Your thoughts on this matter are truly inspiring.

Additionally, the story behind the third photograph had me laughing out loud. I can only imagine how funny it must have been for you to realize that you forgot to check if the eggs were boiled or not. Your wife must have been quite upset with you when she returned home! Haha!

Best regards,
@gondalsavera

Your wife must have been quite upset with you when she returned home! Haha!

Hahaha! She wasn't upset rather she was thankful to God because the occurrence could have led to big casualties.

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.

Oh gosh! You have shared three photos with amazing stories behind them. (•ิ‿•ิ)
My favorite poto is the last, the one with the eggs.
I am sure your wife was not too happy with you. At least you took a great photo of it. I think there are few people on earth who can say that they have a photo of burned eggs.

Good luck with the contest and the invitation!
I've dropped an entry.

I'm lucky to be one of those 😂. I wouldn't have imagined I would one day capture burnt eggs that was prepared for boiling.

Thanks for leaving a comment on this, ma'am.

Haha! There is always a surprise element when it comes to photography.

The pleasure was all mine. ☕

Hello, I like the photos of the burned eggs at the end, because of the framing, the color, that photo is striking.

At first when I saw the hand I was like...?? But seeing it from the point of view of perspective, of course, it highlights this hand and this ring that is so important to you, charming the fact that you always wear it.

Looking closer reveal more detail about things than we have seen from afar. Thanks for stopping by.

I'm so glad to have you on this. I won't stop capturing the moments. Thanks once again.

Greetings @fredquantum
You've shared with us great photos with high value and it's worth sharing with us. The first photo of the ring which has a nice story behind it, it's a nice ring and it doesn't depend on the quality as fact as it represents a nice moment.

The val gift selector is really a nice one, I wish I can also design a website like that too, I will click on it and also share to my friends.
The eggs looks burnt, seems the water in the pot dried up which would have resulted to a fire outbreak, thank God for you safety.

Seems all your pictures has an important story behind it

Thanks for relating with each of those pictures. I appreciate your time.
