My favorite celebration of the year.

What an amazing opportunity to once again relate with my Nobel and able steemians in the house. Today I am among you to share my favorite celebration of the year with you all.

To me, every day is a day of joy and celebration. The reason is, we wake up to experience God's blessing and love over our lives daily. Even the fact that we are still breathing, is a big reason to celebrate. Nevertheless, out of the 365 days in a year, there is always a day that is made to be celebrated in remembrance of something special. In that regard, I will be sharing with you that particular day that I always live to celebrate.

Christmas 🎅 🎄 is one of the most celebrated days in the world, and I am happy to tell you that out of the many events I celebrate within a year, Christmas has always been my favorite, and forever it will be my favorite.

I don't know how Christmas is being celebrated in other parts of the world 🌎, but here in Nigeria, it use to be so amazing and eye-catching.

Even before the actual date of the celebration, you will notice from the way people are preparing, that something great is coming up. Churches are being decorated with Christmas trees🎄 and you will see flashy lights on almost every compound. People also travel from place to place to celebrate the event with loved ones. Talking about clothes, oh....!! You will see everyone looking amazing in new clothes.

What is the meaning of this celebration for you?

Christmas is a day that's being set aside to celebrate the birth of our lord (Jesus Christ) who came into the world to set us free from bondage. We believe that if Jesus never came to our rescue, we all could have still been in the bondage of sin. But his birth, death, and resurrection have given us hope and power over sin.

How long have you been celebrating it?

I was born into a Christian family, and I grew up seeing people celebrating Christmas every year. As far as I am concerned, I have been celebrating Christmas right from the year I was given birth to. Guess what, I will continue to celebrate Christmas for the rest of my life.

How do you celebrate it?

---

Christmas is a big event in the life of every believer. The 25th of December is a day I celebrate mostly in church. I go to church in my new cloth to celebrate the birth of the king of kings. In Church, we sing songs of praise and birthdays to the lord.

After we close from church, we share gifts, eat, visit friends, go to event centers, etc. Christmas is never a boring day. It use to be full of celebrations right from the 25th to the end of the year.

With whom do you share the joys of this celebration?

Christmas is a day that's celebrated with family members, friends, and colleagues. We dance together, share gifts, together and go on a picnic together. All with family and friends. One beautiful thing about Christmas is people who are working far away from home always travel to meet their family to celebrate with them
