SEC - S8W1. "How much of a scout am I?".

Warm greetings to you, my dear friend, and how you are doing today. I am so happy to have you here reading through my post, in which I have discussed "The Scout Law." Of the 10 articles, I have chosen to talk about the one that says, "The scout is helpful." based on a true life experience that I have encountered.

The scout is helpful.

Indeed, the Scout is helpful, and only true friends who are brave enough can be considered Scouts. Once upon a time in the land of Mayo Sum-sum, which was the place where I did my youth service, On one faithful day, I and my friend who visited me and my other colleagues in my PPA decided to visit some mountains in the bush and see how the places looked without knowing that there were dangerous animals in the bush.

Thank God for me and my friend for being helpful to each other. As scouts, we watched over each other's backs and ensured that no one was harmed. As at the stage of our movement when we were about to climb the mountain, I was also bitten by a snake; if not for my friend that quickly helped and dragged me behind, I could have been hit by a viper.

Scouts are helpful people that watch each other's back, which is exactly what I and my friend did. I was also helpful to him by providing water to him when he was tasty and became so tired that I backed him up and took him to a very cool place and provided him with first aid treatment for the injury that he got.

At some point, our journey became so stressful for us that the two of us fell from very high mountains. Thank God for other scout members that help us by rescuing us from falling deep inside a hole. Other scout groups came for religious gatherings and prayers. Indeed, Scout is helpful.
