It's your favorite blogger @okere-blessing, this is a topic that I have big experience with, it happened to me severely before I learnt my lessons. In this post I will share how it affected me . Ponzi scheme was a trend in my country many even lost their life in the process because how their money got lost in a winkle of an eye.

When we take about ponzi scheme we can simply referred it to a get -rich -quick - platform or business. They can make someone millionaire over night and still crippled you within a thing frame. Hahahaha those involved in this dubious act are very heartless I must say.

I have heard and even taken part in so many of them, this ones are the type you will invest some amount of money and get 50% return interest. Then when you invite people to join you also have some percentage as your invitees invest. The likes of MMM and Twinkers, was on the lead as of 2015-2017.

Like I said I was introduced by a very high profile person that I can't question his invite. He showed me some evidence and even used his money to invest for me. That was Twinkers. After the first investment he made for me paid out with the interest I was convinced to join and even dragged my husband to invest. We got the first hand and doubled our investment, my husband and I invested one hundred thousand Naria each . As the time of payment was approaching we started hearing rumors that it has crashed. We didn't believe it until it was time for us to be paid nothing was showing up . We waited patiently for some months as they were promising us that it was system upgrades and so on. That was how our hard earned money vanished to thin air.

There's an adage in my community that says When ant beats the buttocks it will learn in a heard way. , I have learned in a hard way and I can partially detect any ponzi scheme. Because some of them looks so real and undetectable.

• They are not traceable. Some of these ponzi scheme present themselves to be real still they have no registered insurance, for anyone to detect one you will find out that it does not have a traceable history.

• High percentage return interest. Nothing good comes easy, but this heartless people will give whopping return interest that will blow the minds of their investors.

• Downlines. Most of this Ponzi schemes work with bringing people to join . Any online thing that involves bringing one or two as a prerequisite to join is a suspect of ponzi scheme.

• It's not easily affected by the market. No matter how people are complaining of hardship, this business is not easily affected, they keep paying their customers regardless of the economy and hardship.

• Their strategy is not straight forward. No one can pin point how they make these monies that they are paying with high return interest.

I'm 2 years plus on steemit, I have studied about the platform and I discovered that it's not a ponzi scheme. Steemit does not Force her members to recruit in order to get paid or to receive bonus. Steemit rewards her genuine content creators, support and appreciate them with votes.

Steemit users does not boost or show off like ponzi scheme users.

Steemit is legit. And has stayed beyond being called a ponzi scheme.

Online Investment is good, everybody should be mindful of the one to follow. Is not all that has attractive pay and good interest return are genuine. Let's wise up.
