SEC - Season 5, Week 3: My favorite celebration of the year.

If I was asked how I would commemorate my achievements, my answer would be by celebrating with everyone. Celebration does not mean that it can only be done on a special day, we can also celebrate our small achievements. Yes, no one likes to celebrate itself but when we celebrate with everyone we can enjoy the real satisfaction.

Like every year this year also I celebrated many festivals and special moments. But my favorite celebration this year is the Miladunnabi Festival celebration. Because on this day I celebrated with Muslim brothers by achieving good deeds.

Tell us, what it consists of?

The most beloved person for Muslims is our Prophet Muhammad, The man who came to earth as a Messenger. For which we got Islam. Which is called the religion of peace. On the occasion of our beloved Prophet's birthday, we celebrate Miladunnabi festival every year to show our love and respect to the Prophet.

We celebrate this festival throughout the month of Rabiul Awal(Arabic month). Our beloved Prophet came to earth in this month but as we don't know the exact date, we celebrate Miladunnabi festival throughout the month to mark his arrival on earth. This festival is celebrated in all the Muslim based countries of the world.

What is the meaning of this celebration for you?

I express my love for my beloved Prophet by celebrating Mila Dunnabi. Various processions and rallies are taken out on this day where we all chant religious slogans together and recite blessings on the Prophet. Muslim brothers from far and wide of the country come together to celebrate this festival. This day has been declared as a public holiday.

How long have you been celebrating it?

I have been celebrating this festival with everyone since childhood. As a child I didn't understand much, only I used to celebrate the festival with our elders the way they celebrated it. But since growing up, I understand the poignancy of this festival that a lot of goods and virtues can be achieved by celebrating it.

By celebrating this festival with the entire Muslim brothers of the country, the brotherhood among us becomes stronger. Here, the Muslims who come from far away to celebrate the festival and get hungry are given free food. In this way, the bond of humanity is formed between us by celebrating this festival.

How do you celebrate it?

Every year this festival is celebrated in two places. One is in our locality which is limited and the other is in our holy places where the Muslims of the whole country celebrate the festival together.

Friday is selected for the festival that is celebrated in our area. After Friday prayers we gather at a certain place in our area. Then our religious people started saying the religious words and we recited Darud on the Prophet along with them. Finally, after reciting durood up to the specific area, prayers and supplications are offered for everyone. This is how we celebrate Miladunnabi festival.

Miladunnabi festival is one of the biggest celebration in our country on which all Muslims are celebrated. It is especially organized at an important place in our city. On a certain day of the month of Rabiul Awal, people from different parts of the country come together and as before, we recite blessings on our beloved Prophet through a procession and finally pray.

With whom do you share the joys of this celebration?

I want to share this celebration with the entire Muslim brothers. A good aspect of this festival is that Muslim brothers from different parts of the country take a vow to help each other. Maybe some don't know anyone but are forced to love each other just because they are Muslims. Because we believe humanity is the real religion. The world survives because humanity is still there.

I think any small celebration should be celebrate with everyone. Sharing happiness and joy with others never diminishes but increases. We should celebrate the moments of happiness with everyone. I may be alive today but one day I may not be on earth. So one should never hurt anyone's heart but should celebrate the happy moments by sharing them with everyone.
