Homeless people in my country are an interesting topic to deal with because you will always find homeless people around you no matter which country you find yourself in. Today I will be using the contest tips to answer a few questions. So let's get started without further ado.

mine.PNG

Are there homeless people in your country?

mine.PNG

Yes, there are homeless people in my country. Nigeria as a country has almost 25% of its citizens homeless due to many factors, these factors are things I will be discussing in the next question below.

Everywhere you go, there are always some people who are homeless for one reason or the other. The important we should note here is that being homeless is a result of one issue or the other because people don't just choose to be homeless.

Indeed, if you see those who are homeless, their only wish is that they also have a roof over their head because staying on the street exposes them to lots of danger most especially the females.

So let's consider the next question and see the reason or reasons why we have these homeless people within us. We are aware that a lot of people have houses they do not use and yet people are homeless.

mine.PNG

What do you think is the cause that leads these people to be on the street, homeless, and without a family?

mine.PNG

There are lots of reasons that may cause these people to be on the street without their families and one such reason is war, natural disaster, accident, etc.

Most people we see in the street today once had a roof over their heads but conditions have put them on the street without a roof on their heads, so this condition can be incidents such as war, accident, natural disaster, and many more.

If there is a war in the land, people most times get displayed from their houses, and if the war claims the life of the parents, their children become homeless fending for themself, and that has been the major reason why we see people on the street.

Natural disasters such as floods and many other things Can also be the main reason for homeless people. Recently in Nigeria due to a flood, millions of Nigerians were displaced from their homes, and that led them to become homeless.

mine.PNG

Has the government tried to try or create decent shelters to help these people?

mine.PNG

When cases like this come up, the government of the land looks for ways to provide shelter and food for those concerned. In every part here in Nigeria, there is always a home for the displaced people though not a good enough shelter but a place where they can lay their heads.

Not everyone stays in the place the government provides because of the restrictions you see around the area and sometimes the provisions of food and other social amenities are not made available leading people to feel uncomfortable in the place.

Though the government is doing its best to provide that which will help the citizen their effort sometimes is not good enough. So people go out of their way to look for a better life by hustling themselves.

mine.PNG

What could you propose so that these people do not remain in this dark world?

mine.PNG

When a situation like this comes up, my advice is that the government should do its best to fix their homes for them. It may not be as perfect as it was before they were displaced but it can be something manageable and they can start from there.

When this is done, the government can also make provisions for jobs for those who initially didn't have any so that they can raise money within the shortest possible time and do that which is required of them i.e. setting up their homes to their satisfaction.

In doing so, you will agree with me that the government has helped to eliminate almost all traits that people are initially supposed to face. So that is my proposal if found in such a situation.

I want to invite @solaymann, @msharif, and @suboohi to share their participation in this contest if they haven't shared theirs yet.

Empathy for the destitute in numerous nations carries various advantages to the two people and society overall. At the point when individuals show compassion and worry for the destitute, it cultivates a feeling of local area and interconnectedness. This empathy can prompt more comprehensive and caring social orders where people are esteemed for their mankind as opposed to their conditions.

Merciful activities, for example, giving sanctuary, food, and clinical consideration, straightforwardly benefit those encountering vagrancy by working on their personal satisfaction and offering them chances to revamp their lives. These endeavors can assist with decreasing the wellbeing dangers and perils related with living in the city, like openness to the components and weakness to wrongdoing.

Also, sympathy can spur people and networks to advocate for foundational changes to address the main drivers of vagrancy, for example, reasonable lodging, admittance to emotional wellness care, and work potential open doors. By pursuing these changes, social orders can diminish the pervasiveness of vagrancy and establish a more impartial and only climate for everybody.

Sympathy for the destitute likewise develops a culture of generosity and regard, which can motivate others to make comparable moves and advance a pattern of compassion and backing. At last, sympathy assists with reinforcing the social texture and fabricate a more empathetic culture for all. Best of luck.

Best Regards

Your proposal for the government to fix homes and provide jobs for the homeless people is a great idea, and it's something that can make a significant difference in their lives. It's not just about providing temporary solutions, but about creating a sustainable and long-term plan to help them get back on their feet.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I read your post and it's great that you have feelings and emotions for the homeless. You have the feelings and emotions for them as a human being. It is very sad to see such homeless people. Something should be done for such people to solve their problem. But we can't do anything, we can pray for them or appeal to the government to provide them a quarter or a house in which they can live a comfortable life with their wives and children. If we are free and educated, we should actively help such people, we should not think why we are doing this, but think that they are human beings like us and we have to take care of them.

Homeless people are a prevalent issue in Nigeria, with almost 25% of the population being homeless. Various factors such as war, natural disasters, and accidents contribute to people being displaced from their homes and ending up on the streets. While the government provides some shelters, they may not be adequate, leading people to seek alternative options. To improve the situation, the government should focus on providing better housing and job opportunities for homeless individuals to help them regain stability and security in their lives.
