Hello my wonderful friends and fellow pet lovers, trust you are doing great? It is my pleasure to bring you update about my pets, Hazel and Lola. Recall that I reported in my last series of the update that they weren't doing well due to what I observed about their droppings and that I invited a vet Doctor, please you will like to know how they are now as a lover of pet. Please keep reading and see how they are doing.

Their Health status

After they were examined, the vet Doctor left me with two options, one is to give them antibiotics, while the other option was to observe them to see if the problem they were having will persist. According to him, it is not a good practice to administer antibiotics quickly on them as it could have bad effects on them, only on extreme cases can one be left with such option. However,he went home with the money for the drugs and promised to return after 2 days with the drugs and by then, if the situation is a serious one, we will know. Guess what happened the next day?

I woke up and as usual, I went to clean up their cage and I noticed that they were no longer having that stomach upset. I only confirmed it by their solid nature of their excrement. But they were not still smart as usual. I kept observing them till the following day and as God may have it, they kept improving day by day. The vet Doctor called and I told him the situation on ground, he wasn't bothered again about coming with the drugs and said we should keep observing them.

This is their excrement that I gathered that confirmed to me that they were OK and no need for the medication as opposed to the watery nature of it that made me raise an alarm earlier.

Rejoice with me that my pets are now more loving and smarter. I have been constantly applying all suggestions that were given to me as respects the method of keeping food for them and water. I now hang everything for them which make it more hygienic and easier for me to clean up their cage. Take a look at the way I hang them from the pictures below

As funny as the Mouse

But do you know that these bunnies are funny, they keep giving me work. After hanging the leafs, they will treat and even eat the rope. I keep tying over and over again. I am looking for permanent solution.

But the good side of the whole thing is that they now have more appetite for food and water. They almost always jump on me each time I go to give them food. They finish everything in no time and at a lightest sound of me, they will be jumping up and down for more.

My present constraint

*Presently, the weather is dry here and so are leafs. I hardly find green leafs for them as a result of the fact that the dry season has dried up almost all leafs. The ones I manage to see in the market are very costly. For instance, they finish leafs of 400 NGN in a day. And that is about 2.3 steem. You can imagine. So I am hoping for the rain to come and change the situation.

*Anther problem is that the vet Doctor complained that the cage I constructed for them is very small and therefore, they don't have the freedom to move around. So I will plan to extend the cage or even construct a bigger one.

*I have not also been able to get feed the vet Doctor prescribed for me to buy for them. He said that I could use
*vital feed (starter) pallet to add up as food for them. This particular Vita is scarce here. But as soon as I get it, I will get it for them.
But in all, I am happy that my bunnies are fine now and more active than before.

CONCLUSION
