Rescue Diary - Pearl the Pug heads to the west coast

Pearl was being given away on FB but she luckily was given to Rescue. She is ready to go home to her new West Coast home. She is a sweet girl who loves to ride.

Well, Pearl made her trip from Arkansas all the way to the California coast this past weekend. It looks as though the previous "owners" used her as a breeder and then decided to dump her off after she had served her purpose.
Fortunately this sweet little girl found herself rescued and quickly adopted by a loving couple.

And who wouldn't want this sweet little girl when they looked at this face

My part of her voyage was across northern Arizona again- this time from Holbrook waaaaay over to Kingman on the other side of the state.

Fortunately little Pearl didn't mind the loing trip and was ready to be friends with anybody and Everybody along the way.

A short break to pee and walk in Holbrook and Pearl was ready to roll
She jumped right on up to the seat and made herself right at home.

(Lulu wasn't thrilled she was sharing the car with another rescue (again!!!) but Pearl was too busy exploring my car to notice and soon Lulu figured that it was easier just to sit back and enjoy the ride as well.

Too bad my wife didn't come so I could have enjoyed playing with Pearl and the miles all too quickly passed and it was time to hand her off to the last driver before she met her new family over in California to complete the last couple of legs of her long voyage.

Lulu was nice enough to walk around with Pearl in Kingman before saying goodbye

Her new family was quick to let everyone know how quickly Pearl was settling in to her new home and what a sweet (and energetic) little girl she was. It looks like lucky little Pearl really found a wonderful new family to enjoy.
